Writing Your Life as Fairy Tale
Explore your personal mythology through story, writing, and community in a year long cohort
Every life is mythic.
Below the surface of our mundane world exists a mythic, metaphoric, mysterious realm. It hums continually just beyond the overt.
It tells a wild story, a truer story.
We can learn how to press into our daily lives and see, feel, know the mythic dimensions.
We can begin to engage more meaningfully with these wild depths.
The world is drenched in imagination.
And if we just press in even a little, mythic and metaphoric meaning spill out and nourish our souls.

This year long offering is an opportunity for us to deepen into this mythic dimension of our lives. We will follow the wisdom of stories into our own stories. We will dive deep and see far for our own personal mythologies, the stories living through us, and hopefully in the process become people who can perceive this living ensouled world—human and more than human—mythically and metaphorically.

Here are some details about what to expect…
We will meet weekly (on zoom) in small pods (3-4 folks). Each month we will explore a story and listen to its medicine. And we will take an element of the story and explore our personal mythologies through that lens. You will be given writing prompts and guidance to help you along the way.
Each time we meet we will share some of our reflections and writing and be witnessed with care.
You will be guided through a journey of listening deeply to your wild life. By the end of the year, you will not only have a written story of your life as fairy tale, you will also have been invited and given tools to have a deep sense of the mythic depths of your own life and to become someone who has mythic sight.
